After Man City signed David Silva, Bellamy has been allowed to leave. Imo, Bellamy could be a very shrewd signing. It is clear we need another striker and he can also play down the left making his versatility useful. He has a great turn of pace and worries all defenders. I'm sure £8m will be enough. Wages will be problem though.
5m then yes, can play on the wing, behind striker main striker had a good partnership with Kuyt to be fair, just keep any golf clubs away and we should be ok. I would take him back.
Yeah I definitely agree with that, however I'm not sure Uncle Woy has the most ideal character to keep the reins on Bellamy... needs a Souness type methinks. Although you would hope that the Welshman might have matured a bit by now.
Did well for City last season down the left and up front but he could present us more injury problems than match winning performances. We already have Torres who is injured a lot, Joe Cole on his way back from a serious injury so is sure to pick up a few niggles so we dont need anymore.
Personaly i'd give Babbel one more season and use him up front, and spend the cash elsewhere like an LB
