I think we are awfully lenient with our Owners and have given them a pass because of the miracles Klopp has produced on such an extreme low shoestring budget.

There are all manner of ways FSG can finance Klopp's preferred acquisitions. I'm sick of hearing about their great commercial successes...the great deal struck with Nike after reneging on their deal with New Balance. Their deals with AXA, Standard Chartered, Expedia etc... and the most recent extended contract with Nivea.

FSG can do a share offering to the fans who would be bowled over to contribute to the club whilst at the same time owning a piece of it. They can go into the Capital Markets...Bonds, an IPO...
Their greed knows no bounds, they've got us at a snip 300m and turned it into just over 2 Billion.

If they won't pay for the upkeep of this Ferrari they need to get out of the race!

It's quite obvious what happened. Klopp has the assurance from FSG on Bellingham and thinks he's got a commitment from the player - so he was content to ride the Milner/Hendo train for another season. He realised he needed another midfielder after all the injuries - and definitely after Hendo's injury last Wednesday. Hence, we left it late and missed out on players like Nunes and Bissouma. We left it late for players like Luiz or Tielemans - or didn't want to pay over the odds and dip into next summer's Bellingham money. Hence, a stop-gap loan - but a player good enough to potentially prove himself and earn a move at a reasonable price. It's not ideal but it's low risk and could have been worse. If Bellingham comes it will be considered shrewd - if he signs for Real or Man C then the whole thing will have been another calamity.

It's looking more a calamity right now

Can't see him starting even if fit, he hasn't trained under Klopp yet. Milner will start with Fabinho and Eliott

Steve Nicol saying this is not a good signing and will not help Liverpool.

Apart from his injury record he is a player who keeps possession too much and makes too many square passes. Will not provide the required creativity in midfield as he does not move ball forward.

Last minute panic buy by Klopp due to Henderson injury.

If he was any good Juve would have kept him or at least git a fee, they are even paying part of his wages

Listening to a few reporters in Italy sounds like he was bit unlucky in Italy with managers leaving who would have used him and replacements not fancying him.

Seems a worth while gamble as we are not obliged to buy him and we are only paying half his wages, if he does well we have the option to buy, the question is on his injuries/fitness rather than ability, which is the same question on so many players in our squad.

Yep, he has the right injury profile for our midfield. We love to take chances on sick notes
