At least it is not his ACL again, hopefully he will make a speedy recovery, but it looks like he will be out most of the season.

We have 2 of 3 first choice CB out for the season basically, so we will need to buy in January and try and get through until the window opens using Matip, Phillips, Fab & Williams.

I am worried the way Klopp is talking of using MF as CB's like Barca did with Mach, it is like he is preparing us for not buying a CB in January, if we want any chance of defending the PL & winning the CL, we need a CB or 2 in January! MF at CB can do an occasional job, but not a season, La Liga is allot different for CB than the PL, where they will be targeted and have teams like
Burnley, Sheff Utd, WBA using their height/power.

I think that was before Gomez got injured. And with him now probably out for most of the season, it should bring forward any targetted defenders planned for next summer to Jan.
Note I said should.... fingers crossed.
