We were just over dependent on VVD and with Lovren leaving we all expected us to buy a CB. Tge position we are actually the least covered

Dallas302 Trialist D Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 49 Across the Pond	Really bad news indeed - get well VVD. ACL injuries typically take 5-6 months for recovery. The luck we had last year with minimal injuries to key players led to the title and looks like has run out finally. VVD , Allison and now Thiago out.... top players. City went through similar issue with Laporte out for 3 months last season - and clearly had an impact on their results. VVDs height and strength will be missed in defence. Both Fabinho and Matip are capable but not dominating/commanding. Here is hoping Mane/Salah stay injury free! Last edited by Dallas302; 18/10/20 10:39 PM.
