Yep, he is 6th choice now really after the front 3, Jota & Minamino, so can't see him staying, same with Brewster, I hope Brewster go's on loan though, as I think one of the front 3 will leave next summer.

Some clever business from Edwards & co. I like the way this has come out of nowhere and we signed him up, like the Fab move.

Most deals are paid like that anyway. Fees are paid in installments over the entirety of the contract, release clauses are paid all upfront.

Liverpool aren't broke they were just being cautious in an uncertain COVID period. Jota minus the Hoever fee is a good bit of business. 20 + goals for Wolves - 2 years experience including playing in Europe. Starter for Portugal. I think he's a better signing than Sarr would have been.

Exactly, if it is the same as Thiago, we are looking for deals where payments are well staggered. As long as we get the RIGHT players, I dont care.

Not sure that he is a better player than Sarr, but didnt want another African, especially in attack

quite pleased with Jota signing if true. called for it some months back. his pressing and work rate will fit right in. just whether he can be more consistent with his finishing.

When African nations return we need non African players to cover.

I think it's cancelled next year though.

Not seen much of Jota. Is he back up/competition for Firmino?
