I havent actually measured the distance with a tape measure while at the Eithad as surprising as that seems. But the space between your head and the next person is I would say twice the distance at the Eithad. When you eventually get to go to an actual football match you will see its the difference between your space and the next person not the space between seats. Obviously that space matters with Corvid 19 you are still at risk at City but less than at Anfield is my point.

The lower centenary (Kenny dalglish stand) was build on the old kemlyn road cantilever stand built in 1963. In 1963 most of the grounds (including anfield) were predominately terracing. Space in those days for spectators was not the main consideration. I agree the Kemlyn road was always seating but it was designed to that era. That design still exists today 60 years later. I have sat in that stand as a season ticket holder since 1986 believe me I know how close those seats are. You don't, I would bet you have never been there in your life. The exact measurement between those and modern stadia designed today I am afraid I don't know but I do know there is much more space. Stick to things you know about
