Manchester City I would say not been to Arsenal or spurs magnificent stadiums but I would imagine same there. I am average height 5ft 10in but at Anfield I have my knees in the back of the person in front and the knees of the person behind me in my back. It must be very uncomfortable for tall people at Anfield I have been to City's new stadium twice (for football, been to a few concerts also), once for Man City v Villa (2005 before the money with a few City fans) and 2 years ago for the Italy v Argentina friendly hosted there, it's the same as any other stadium I have been to, your shoulders/arms touch the person next to you when sat down, no standard seat in a stadium will give a few feet either side unless you are sat next to the steps/corridor, even then on the other side you have someone very close.

I cant see games with fans in stadium anytime soon but games will be more accessible on tv.

The Chief Medical Officer here said yesterday that we will have to keep some of the social distancing measures to the rest of the year. If that is the case even the most optimistic of us would have to accept that the only football see will see this year will be behind closed doors. Many clubs could not live with that as it is not only gate receipts lost but exposure and sponsorship in general. I would suggest that we should still finish this season when we can as next season would appear to be lost already.

So are the seats at the Etihad 2-5 feet apart?
You’re crammed in in every stadium except in a box like has been pointed out. It’ll be no worse at Anfield so again like I say it’s just an empty moan. The seats are modern stadium are further apart than anfield anfield are particularly crammed together maybe if you went to anfield you might know what I am talking about

4 to 5 feet apart won't matter, if somebody is coughing a lung up and is not wearing a mask in the vicinity of other folks then chances are they're going to infect others. Besides, the Aussies have a suspicion that farts really can be "Silent but Deadly"! Coronavirus could be spreading through farts, says DoctorAn Australian doctor has said that farting could spread coronavirus especially if it comes from a patient who has been tested positive of the pandemic! One medic claimed people may be passing the deadly disease on to others through omitting bodily gasses, however, experts aren’t so sure. The doctor cited tests that revealed the virus was present in the faeces of 55 per cent of patients with Covid-19. And medics have previously warned that farts contain tiny poo particles that can spread bacteria! https://tribuneonlineng.com/coronavirus-could-be-spreading-through-farts-says-doctor/

I'm under 70, have been in forced isolation and have no underlying health conditions so if I was in the UK and they were struggling to fill the stadiums, I'd risk catching the flu to see a game. I think I've had it already which would be good as my children have probably caught it and built immunity.
