Only one digging here is you. At no point did I say the ECL is like the Carabao cup. I said they’re all worth winning. You said it’s be nice to do the treble and I printed out that if we win the league we will have done. Just because that doesn’t fit into your moaning agenda isn’t my problem. Just like you being wrong about us snoring more with Coutinho in the side.

I didn’t say a treble was a treble. Keep up now vish. I said we’d have done a treble and that all trophies are worth winning. I’d swap the super cup for champions league any day. But we’d still have three trophies this season IF we win the league., so a treble. It just doesn’t suit your moaning to acknowledge that.
And there’s no point for you talking to me because I don’t follow your narrative. We all know you can’t handle anyone challenging your moaning so you start with that rubbish. Very childish.

It's not the stats that will persuade me, it's dynamics in our play which are unconvincing. Our front three look like they are getting jaded (Mane mighty be exception) and we desperately need a top class striker and a creative mid. Fernandes was a no-brainer for me. Best signing of the season, from what I can see. Now UTD have cut loose from Pogba, they look pretty good - sad to say. The only place look okay is in the back 4. Curtis Jones might be okay in 2 yrs but he isn't there yet and we look like we've got an aging first 11 - that have to play high energy football week in week out, or a load of promising kids. There's nothing in the middle. The midfield is my biggest concern. Without Henderson (am I writing this?!) we just don't look that good. If we win the title, it will cover up our inadequacies - but they will emerge next season.

A treble is a football term for winning the European cup, the league and the domestic cup in one season. Yes you are right in a way by saying winning the league will equate to a treble as that is 3 trophies but that won't be recognized as a treble. Utd are the only team to win a treble in english football. This is why the 3 cups won with Houlier is reffered to as the Mickey mouse treble.
