Did Lovren had to play/play then? Dont think so. No need to get important players injured in the FA cup, if we lose VVD for example, we might even lose the league

First Atl Madrid and then Watford yesterday, it's worrying to see our players being on the end of some cynical heavy handed challenges with the Refs blessing!

It's the blueprint now for how teams beat us.

It's dangerous to think that the league is won. It's never won until it's mathematically won. It might be highly unlikely that we mess things up from here but it is still a possibility.

We have to assume that City can win all of their games. Which means we need 12 points from 9 games. If we have a little stumble 3 wins, 3 losses and 3 draws is not unthinkable.... and that would mean we could win by just a single point. If we drop more points before we play Everton and City then things could get very nervous.

So I am not counting any chickens just yet. We were so close to getting comfortable... had we won yesterday and again at home to Bournemouth then we would have been almost home. But we're still not quite over the comfort line. I suggest the Bournemouth game is far more important than the Atletico game now.

This happens every now and then, didnt Robertson do something similar to a Spurs player recently and Mourinho was crying?

Nah! Mighty...if football continues then Liverpool are effectively over the line for the Premier League. Man City have Laporte out for another month, they won't win every game from now until the end of the season, they are throwing all their eggs in one basket for the CL...it's personal to them now after their ban from UEFA.

If we continue playing as we did yesterday anything can happen

We should be... and it might be the most likely scenario... but that does not mean it will happen. We play again in the league before City do and if we drop points, people will start talking about a wobble, pressure, bottling it... City will believe and then anything could happen.

I know Lovren makes everyone nervous but he didn't play against West Ham and we were lucky to beat them. Norwich was also a bad game as was Atletico. Klopp has to be careful now as we are on a downward spiral and need to turn it around now.

Indeed, we were not playing great but were grinding results but since the winter break it has worsened

The worse thing we can do is give the first team a rest, they play like donkeys after a break !!!!!
