This must be the quietest transfer window ever from LFC fans, we're normally demanding a new forward/defender etc !!!
If I could bring anyone in, I'd like cover for LB, Robbo has looked tired recently and Milner is injured, our attacking play suffers without Robbo, would be good to have specialised LB cover, we never really replaced Moreno, maybe Lewis or Larouci are going to be brought through, bot seen enough of them to know of they are good enough as cover.
4 hours left..... We bought a forward who currently is only warranting his price. Mane being out would be a good opportunity to prove his worth but doesn't look like that at least so far. And everyone knows we are not buying anybody probably because of our 19 pts gap I never expected us to buy anyone, was surprised we bought Minamino, think that was more down to the release clause and get him before anyone else could. I have been more surprised from the supporters, in the summer there was allot of concern over lack of buying, I guess a 19 point lead will take away the worry! I don't have any concerns on Minamino, he will take time to settle in, it's a new league and a new team/style of play, Klopp will ease him in like he has with Fab & Robbo, we will see the best of him next season.

Lowest spend in a transfer window since 2010 apparently. Not just us who ain’t buying it seems. Yeah, was a fairly quiet Window, it was only United who bought a big name in Fernandes and that was a panic buy really, with Sporting looking to extract as much as they could from a PL club for the last 18 months. I was surprised Chelsea didn't buy, after appealing their transfer ban they bought no one, Tottenham bought 2 players but lost Ericsson, who is one of their best players, I though Mourinho may spend big to try and secure fourth, especially with Kane out.

I think the transfer market has been so bonkers for a while now, it seems to be correcting. Fewer deals, less money.

Klopp likes to get the players used to the system, so it wouldn't surprise me if we don't see much of him now until next season, unless he is required for injury cover. I'm surprised the likes of Chelsea didn't invest heavily, they appealed their transfer ban and didn't buy anyone, 4th place is up for grabs, so a few big moves could have helped secure 4th for the likes of Chelsea or Utd.

Exactly. To write him off so early is nuts. The way we play takes getting used to and it’ll take a bit of time for Minamino just like it did Fab etc.

Klopp players take months to integrate usually: Fabinho, Robertson, Ox, Keita, etc. Unless it's a total finished product type signing a la Alisson or VVD, most of his recent signings took awhile to bed in. Minamino was highly rated and looked good in the CL. He is raw though and will take time.

Mane and Salah slotted in immediately and they play in a similar position, just looks like Bergwijn is better suited for the EPL than Minamino who probably needs to muscle up.

Bergwijn scored = great signing.
Minamino struggled to slot straight into the best team in the world = get rid!
If he cost £35m I'd be more expectant but he's a prospect/opportunity signing and hopefully a good option off the bench/squad next season.

Not judging Minamino, just stating what I have seen so far (and I am sure not only me but all those who have watched the couple of ganes) on a thread on January Transfer window. Now I do understand that some players need time, the comment was on a player who has started well immediately and who also looks physically suited for the EPL.
