so your telling me if your a manager going to another club you cant stand and look at a team and say he's dead wood id prefer this player instead. every manager has a list of players he wants to bring to clubs they wouldnt be very good managers if they cant find bad points and ways to improve. Also Hodson in his interview said he already had ideas when asked about tranfers which he wants to speak to the board about.

but our newspapers are the worse gossips than a nanny night at bingo. but we love it and thats why we read it!

On that note I hope he's got Ngog in the gym working on some upper body strength.

I don't really believe Roy H could think of signing any Fulham players unless perhaps they wanted any of our players, or a player had been declared surplus to requirements by Fulham, in which case a deal could be struck.

Ultimately much depends on whether Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano leave; and if I were in Roy H's boots I would want to clarify this as soon as possible.

If, as it looks like, Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano leave before the start of the season, what are fans expectations for the coming season?

I for one would like a return to our roots of developing players, it would mean a few years out of the top 4, but is this something that current fans could handle? Build for the future, it's the only way to play with the chequebook boys at other clubs, after all we have the history and tradition.

I`d happily take 16th and the board gone!The gooners are the only top team i can think of that go down the road of blooding youngsters,and although they are competitive they always fall short.I think the reality is you have to throw money at it nowadays,look at Redknapp at west ham with all those kids he had they never managed to break the top8,but then throw £70 million at the spuds team and look what happened.The biggest problem we have is that all the former pretenders around us have sizeable budgets now,1 of citys reserve players will cost a much as roy will get to rebuild now,and you just cant expect Roy to compete with that.

Money needs to be thrown at clubs thesedays but then again we are lfc all aboout passion and pride if you can get that message across to a team and they play with passion any team would find it very hard to break us down. so in RH we trust

lets talk about who will be in and who will be out of liverpool in this summer..
as benayoun have already left and we have been indicated by broughten that we will not be given much of a transfer kitty, so under given conditons hodgsons would have to manage currnt side only....



now lets be realistic..15 mil + 6 mil of benayoun...and i think reira,mascherano will go...but i hope that none of nando or gerrard leaves....

No worse than last season imo, as the pair of them were injured most of the time, and when they did actually play we were still as crap.
If they want to go to feather their nest to an even fatter state, then let them go without hesitation is my answer.
We need a team full of Carragher and Kuyt attitudes at LFC.
