Missing penalties happens to the best at times.
Look at Aguero in the CL semi.
Probably cost them a place in the final.
So if Aguero was good enough then he wouldnt have missed that penalty?

They have won one of three this season in the league.

Utterly unstoppable.

Their game has improved massively but 2 penalty misses has blurred the image. Do you disagree from what you have seen?

Huge praise for united and endlessly moaning about our transfer policy.

Liverpool played 3 won 3 draw 0 lost 0 points 9
United played 3 won 1 drew 1 lost 1 points 4

What's that saying. Your own are the worst.

Did I complain on our results or said anything bad on the team? I complained about our transfer policy because we need a little bit of improvement to beat City to the title, how is that bad? That I see we are massively reliant on our front 3 and we will have a problem if for example Mane is unfit, is that wrong? Simple question, do you think we have the squad to win the league?

Coming back to United, I was asked about what I saw so far, I saw an improvement blurred by missed penalties but you want to concentrate on the results, it's your choice. How many of their games did you watch?

Did I even say United are better? So your conclusion above is baseless, not our own but the club hierarchy

Maybe you would be ok if we didn't win the title but I will be very unhappy because IMO the club didn't do enough. You don't need to agree

Concentrating on the results in a results based sport is quite useful.

"Did I even say United are better"?

You said the following: "Their game has improved massively".

Unfortunately I think you have reached the point where I think you would be happy if we lost because you could then boast that you had predicted this all along.

Is it my English or yours? When I say their game has improved massively, does it mean they are better than us?

If you only want to concentrate on results only to conclude it's your right, I prefer to look at games as well. Have you watched the games? If not, let's leave it there as it would be pointless debating.

Just as getting last minute goals, keepers having howlers, getting dodgy decisions etc. happen. You know all those things that you used to explain away our great season a few posts back.

United might be better this season, it would be hard for them to get much worse considering the squad and money they have at their disposal. The amount to which they are better correlative to the money they have spent, however, is still way way below what you'd normally expect after their outlay. Long may it continue, because if it does they will be firmly cemented within midfield mediocrity for years to come. Their money isnt endless. Sponsors will start to lose interest. They'll start falling behind commercially on the back of stagnation on the field. The hole they are in will become bigger.

Right now they are in a transition period. They need a complete overhaul. They believe Ole Gunnar is the answer when his only previous managerial stints of note is finishing 20th with cardiff relegating them. Oh and finishing Second with Molde in the norwegian league. They've got some decent young players, but have no more overall quality to them than any of the other better mid table teams. They are right now on the level of Leicester and Wolves. They are no where near us and city.
