This goalkeeping farce was always an accident waiting to happen, an accident of our own making. Migs should have been sold much earlier and a proper replacement signed, it's nothing short of pure unadulterated bad management. But we need to pray that's not all, what if something similar happens up front, at full back, or if VvD gets injured? The truth is we're unnecessarily exposed in a number of areas, and we're desperately hoping upon hope we don't have similar problems elsewhere. It's hard to believe as European champions we would find ourselves so exposed at the end of a full transfer window, while sitting on a record seasons earnings!
That's can't be called bad management...its crass mismanagement!

I don't remember Adrian at all at WH, was he really not good enough, where was he before that?

How do we know Adrian wasn’t the plan all along? Just because Migs didn’t leave early in the window doesn’t mean he wasn’t always going to go (which he was as he doesn’t play because he’s dump). It’s funny how everything that goes on at the club is always mismanagement.

As for how good he is, I remember seeing him a few times at West Ham and he was decent enough. Seemed like one of those keepers who could pull off wonderful saves but didn’t fill you with confidence. Sound like anyone we may know??

There aren't gonna be many teams that could honestly say they would be comfortable playing with their number 2 keeper, they're number 2's for a reason,no pun intended

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Well, if he was the plan all along, would be strange to have waited for the last day to sign him knowing how Klopp likes his new players to have a full pre-season. In addition we were very short of keepers in the pre season, we even called a keeper nobody wanted for 2 weeks and apparently we are going to call him again. If anything it's complete mismanagement. That said, as I don't know/remember him, he might be as Mignolet or close plus minus.

They wouldn’t have brought him in until Migs went though. Why would they? When Migs went they got him in. Not mismanagement at all. Sell a reserve keeper who was rubbish and replace him with one who might be (or not?). When it happens is irrelevant and if Allison didn’t get injured it wouldn’t even be a conversation.

Letting Migs ho without a replacement would be mismanagement. This isn’t.

Exactly. Not even City with all their wealth have a second keeper as good as their first. I’m really not sure what people want other than a reason to bash the club again?

What do you mean, if Mignolet had not found a club he would still be here and no Adrian, so did we want Adrian or Mignolet then, or we were not sure?

Good management would be to identify the right player, get him on and deal with Mignolet, not on the last day of the window but well in advanced so that the new keeper gets used to the team. What we are doing is managing the wages and transfer fee, so in that respect it's great management, but when it comes to managing the team it's complete mismanagement.

Hopefully Adrian will not need a couple of months to learn Klopp's way as it is usually the case with other players.

It clear that the priority of the club is look at the financial side, even for a few millions, trophies are only a nice collateral.
