Spurs got to a CL final. Something beyond their fans wildest dreams. Without spending money.
Spurs spent money. So what? They need to If they want to catch up with us but they are still light years behind.
Christ alone knows what your argument would be now if they had beaten us in that final.
Are you sure? They have constantly been better than us except last season, how are they light years behind us? We all know City has a better squad than us, don't you think we should reinforce to have a chance against them? We are not far but need a couple of top players and we do have the money to spend. We all saw what the difference VVD and Alisson made to the team, just saying it will be criminal to just rest on our laurels right now. Er, yes I am sure. We beat Spurs 3 times last season and we have been in 3 European finals in 4 years. Spurs have been in one. We were 26 points ahead of them last season. We lost 1 they lost 13. Our goal difference was 67 theirs was 28. Tell me when to stop please because you are really just embarrassing yourself.

I thought the question was worded pretty fairly though. Yes we are probably better but not light years ahead as you say, we beat them twice following mistakes by their keepers, especially the second time in the league when they completely dominated the 2nd half and though we won in the CL they dominated us again. Not saying they are better, but light years ahead, you are the one embarrassing yourself.

By your standards we were light years behind City last year and as you might have noticed, the gap can be closed quickly if you buy correctly. Dismissal of success, what the hell are you talking about, last season's success doesn't guarantee future success, we need to keep it up after a good summer transfer last season.
