I thought the question was worded pretty fairly though. It's worth a sensible debate smile

That pre season mistake against Tranmere was done on purpose in my opinion.
Its not easy to redirect the ball with enough pace taken off it to set up a tap in.A lot easier just to catch the ball.

Some people don't want any questioning of the club or the manager or the owners, they can't even debate and call questioning, 'fking' moaning. Maybe those who can't debate should better leave especially with their classy language...

Thanks Dunk, it was not meant to bash FSG, my point of view I suspect they want the club to do well, purely because it gives them bigger profits. I personally do not see them going above and beyond to achieve that aim though.

we all know that individually the main people in FSG are billionaires, they have got the money, our club over the last 4-5 years have definitely got the money from TV deals, sponsorship, etc etc, sale of players.

The one thing that really rankles me is the reluctance of FSG to invest in the team, yes I know the old line gets trotted out that Klopp has been told he can have the money if he has a player he really wants, Allison and VVD are also trotted out to back this up (not taking into account both players were funded by the sale of Coutinho).

Its very clever sociological manipulation of fans to make them believe that the club is living within in its means and cannot afford to go after the big name players and yes a percentage of our fans now believe that.

If Ath Madrid can afford to spend 113million on Felix, why are we still trying to justify the poor club line trotted out about FSG every time we come round to a transfer window?

And perhaps FSG are slightly better than Hicks and Gilett, but you can bet your house FSG are making a very tidy sum from our club as no doubt Hicks and Gillett would have liked to enjoy.

The question probably should be what is the motivation that FSG have for owning our club?

Are they fans? Nope
Is it to make big bucks? Yes
Are they making big bucks? Yes
Are the big bucks being spent on the team? Debatable

We like sensible debate. What we don't like is stuff like you claiming the Coutinho money paid for Alisson and VVD......AND THEN have the nerve to want to be like At. Madrid splashing out on Felix.

You do know that they can do this because they have so!d a player to City for £62m and still have Griezmann going out?

You have actually out-debated yourself matey.

Though it's rumours but apparently we are not going to spend on top players this window, if that is the case, do you think that would be the right thing for us to have enough chance of winning the league? Spurs just spent 62m, do they have more money than us?

Spurs got to a CL final. Something beyond their fans wildest dreams. Without spending money.

Spurs spent money. So what? They need to If they want to catch up with us but they are still light years behind.

Christ alone knows what your argument would be now if they had beaten us in that final.

Are you sure? They have constantly been better than us except last season, how are they light years behind us? We all know City has a better squad than us, don't you think we should reinforce to have a chance against them? We are not far but need a couple of top players and we do have the money to spend. We all saw what the difference VVD and Alisson made to the team, just saying it will be criminal to just rest on our laurels right now.

I call a spade a spade. Maybe if you weren’t so fukking condescending to people you might get more out of your ‘debates’. Maybe try not to insult people not agreeing with you or call them fukking stupid eh?

Is it though? It’s more like a how many threads you can start asking the same question competition. All this fella wants to do is bash FSG for some reason. Like I said, probably because we’ve not done a fifa type £200m spending spree just yet.
