Why dont we get Kevin Kilbane, Mcgeady, Duff and maybe even a cheeky bid for Liam Laurance in just to make emp happy , its one thing to be patriotic mate but this is Liverpool Football Club not Ireland , only player i rate in that side plays between the sticks and hes pants compared to Pepe if your talking about Shay there I have to disagree, I think Given is the best goalkeeper in the league just edging Pepe.

Am I missing something about the Gerrard story though, current Captain of your home town team, the team you supported since a kid & the chance to take them somewhere under a new manager. Or go to another team full of household names, play the odd game & maybe get a cup medal. At Real Madrid he won't be an automatic choice & eill have to get used to playing 2nd fiddle to Barcelona. Also, if he is going for Mourinho he can think again cos he will be sacked if Real Madrid don't win La Liga.

Am I missing something about the Gerrard story though, current Captain of your home town team, the team you supported since a kid & the chance to take them somewhere under a new manager. Or go to another team full of household names, play the odd game & maybe get a cup medal. At Real Madrid he won't be an automatic choice & eill have to get used to playing 2nd fiddle to Barcelona. My view on Gerrard...
He's our current Club captain served the club through thick and thin. He turned down transferes to over clubs hes trusted the liverpool board with his career and in return he's had many broken promises liverpool is falling apart in front of his and our eyes unless the yanks get out LFC future is looking dull. I believe stevie needs to move on and win something its what he desires and deserves hes been our best player for many years and in return we keep letting him down. all i can say is Good luck Gerrard with the right back he could of led liverpool to many more trophys. YNWA i couldnt of put it beta my self

duff would still do a much better job on the left side than any of the TITS we had playing their last season. mcgeady is also a quality player.
