After my post on the forum about Not Afriad comp video, I decided to ask what I would like to see as a minimum in the next say 50 years.

For me 3 European cups, 2 Europa Leagues, 6 titles, 6 Torres, Gerrard class esk players to go through the club. And of course many a derby win against the Bitters, scum, chelski and gunners.

Personaly I would hope to go to a few finals especialy a european cup final or 2, as well as european night agianst chelsea or utd etc. Go to a world cup or two and see england win a major competition at least twice.

Theoreticaly you may see this as a pointless thread but so much has happened to us over the last 40 years, we've had about 6-7 teams which have been quality during that time, and with all the doom and gloom now what can you see in the next years long term.

With regard to the national team, I couldn't give a flying feck what happens to them. However I wish the "Ingerlund" brigade who gladly accept the media brainwashing every time there is a World Cup/European Championship would accept reality and not treat the tournaments as an excuse for prolonged [oops]-ups.

Where LFC is concerned, I would like to see Lucas Leiva drop-kicked out of Anfield immediately, fans to finally acknowledge Carra's shortcomings, the fact Gerrard's lack of commitment last season was appalling, and reinstate a truly hostile reception of ManUre when they unfortunately appear at Anfield next season.

only one of your points i agree with is the hostile reception for utd. golf balls with nails in them should be handed out free to lfc fans entering the anny road end for this fixture.

as for lucas....give the lad a break. he's young and still learning and he wasnt the only one to under perform under rafa. oh and lucas stays fit unlike torres!

The Out of Town fans situation was taken to a whole new level in Istanbul and the amount of non match going fans at the expense of local or Out of Town match going ones was sickening, Athens was far worse and this is happening more and more at ordinary games throughout the season. How important is the identity of a football Club, I know Liverpool lost ours years ago and United even earlier, even Roy Keane made remarks about prawn sandwiches and the new breed of fan which resides in both our football clubs now.

the locals are staying away through choice. i know oot fans who manage to get a fancard easily enough and apply for tickets for home games.

i know scousers who are season ticket holders and who sell their tickets to oot fans.

i think locals are staying away because they feel the club isnt theirs anymore. but if they stay away that only makes the problem worse because more oot fans take their place.

and where do you get this idea that oot fans have more money? we're in the same boat as scousers. [oops] all in the way of decent jobs where i live!
