We have the ability with a rock solid defence to win games when we're not gelling.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

What did we all think of John Henry lingering around the podium when the trophy was given over? Can’t say I noticed it the first time but did when I watched it again. Surprised we didn’t see John Terry in his kit

Surprised we didn’t see John Terry in his kit He was on the platform with the dignitaries, so the players walked past him to get medals. Probably not going to be a popular opinion here, but I'm glad For him & FSG, they have managed the club well and backed Klopp. We have improved as a business, they have stuck at it when other owners might have been happy to get top 4, but they gave Klopp the money for Alisson, Fab & VvD which pushed us to the next level. When you look at the state of the club when FSG took us over, we were on the verge of going into administration, our best players had left/wanted to leave, so to bring in Klopp and get us challenging for PL and make us CL winners again is a great achievement. Hopefully seeing the fans and the success will drive FSG on to bigger and better things with us, seeing the parade today, hopefully they realise that getting the Anfield Road end rebuilt would mean more fans getting in the ground and more revenue, we have the fan base to support 62,000 fans (I believe that was the possible size after upgrade).

Agree completely on FSG. Just didn’t think it was right for them to linger that way. Normally just see the team and managers. I suppose he’s contributed so should share the celebrations.

He's been to 4 finals with us and lost the previous 3, so can't blame him for wanting to celebrate and soak in the atmosphere, it was a pretty special atmosphere and different to what he see's at the rounders in the US.

a terrible final for the neutral. Exactly what we needed to be doing. Breaking inexperienced teams mentally and doing whta needs to be done.
Amazing, the next level and the piece we have been missing. Well done klopp and well done this squad. You delivered.

He was there last year as well giving the medals, you are probably saying he should have left after giving the medals, right? But it is his club after all.

I have no problem with John Henry lingering. However the success of the club is nothing to do with him. Long term we are very poorly positioned relative to our rivals due to his penny pinching on the stadium. Plus after Rafa was sacked his choice of managers was disasterous. He for once made a good decision with klopp, klopp and only klopp are the reason for where we are,

He is the guy that put the right people in place, the structure in place. It took him a while but he did it. He also did it at the red sox. If you think think that our success has nothing to do with him. I suggest you go look at how the owners of Utd are running their club.

He did one thing right after a long time...appointing klopp. The fact Manchester United are having troubles does not justify the screw ups by Henry
