I rate him too, but like others have mentioned, will he be willing to sit on the bench for a long period, because we have Ox back and also there is Shaq.

He failed in the premier league and looks like one lazy fker, he won't run forever like our players do.

If we look at what our preferred criteria is for players We have to ask if such a player exists. Under 26 Has experience Relatively cheap to buy (under £30m) Wouldn't cost a lot in wages A good sell on value Scores goals Works hard Would sit on the bench and take his chance when it came. Anybody else out there keep coming back to Divock Origi?

My own opinion is that I agree, been so professional for someone who gets limited game time, has got skill, pace and a goal, a good replacement for the odd time someone is injured across the front three. Why look & spend money elsewhere when we have someone who is happy here already and we know him to be a great professional.

I guess the question is, if one of our front 3 picked up a serious injury, would you be happy with Origi starting most games for us next season?
If the answer is no (it is for me), then we need an upgrade

If the answer is no (it is for me), then we need an upgrade I take the point and it's a good one, as it stands I probably wouldn't have enough trust in Origi to play a whole season if that were the case but for me a toss up between Depay and Origi is 50/50 in which case I don't see Depay as much of an upgrade (IMHO).
