Rumours now that we’re going to meet his release clause of only £21m. Absolute bargain at that price. He’s looked good every time I’ve seen him play, and could cover a few different positions as well as rotating with Firmino.

Yep 21m he'd be a welcome addition...set piece specialist, great dribbling skills and has an eye for goal. He'll be 23 in May so ticks the box for age and uses both feet as well so can operate on both wings and in the middle. I've always liked Brandt he'd definitely offer us an upgrade on anything from our bench and pushing the current front 3 at the same time.

Rumour has it, Brandt wants two concerns addressed - playing in his preferred position (as you prob know, he can play across all the top end positions), also he is going to get minutes...
It appears there is no indication of his desired location...As yet...
Would be great if he joins.....

Not seen him play to be honest. If we can get players who will fit into what we need and what we do at a bargain price,then brilliant sign him up.
If this is someone who wants to come for the money, play where he wants to play and just be in it for himself then no thank you he can go somewhere else.
We need players who can come in and play for the team and be at their peak. The minutes our front 3 along with Alisson, VVD, Robertson and Wij have put in is incredible. The workload needs to be shared a bit more to have more players available to play at their peak more often. This is where City have the edge still.
If the likes of Brandt and Werner can come in and we add back in a fit Ox and Gomez, a returning Wilson and the improved Keita then the gap between us and City narrows a bit more.
£21m for any player who would be a capable starter for us has to be looked at.

I don't want players who don't want to play. And top players back themselves. Milner came here for those same reasons. Agreed. The guy has talent he should not be coming to us to just make up squad numbers at his young age. He wants to game time. Fair play to him.
