Yep, never in a billion years would it have been given, but even with var it didn't make sense. Where are players arms supposed to be?

I smell a rat here, could it have been bought and sold? All that extra time and a non penalty at the end of it!!! There's too much money sloping around the CL and the game in general.
Anyway it could work against them what with additional match congestion, it might cost them qualification for next season's CL. Also what wouldn't we give to meet them in the next round?

VAR is there to give a better view of the actiob but the interpretation of the law of the game remains with the ref. Yhe defender's hand was not not stuck to his body and there was a movement towards the ball as he turned his back. It is a harsh one for PSG but their defender shouldn't have turned with his hand spread. It could have gone either way and United were lucky in a way.
