What really frustrates me is that we have been knocked out of the cups and effectively had our own winter break yet upon return the players look completely drained and as though they can't get themselves up for it.
This.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

The only reason we were 7 points clear is because man City uncharacteristically lost games to palace. Newcastle and Leicester.
We haven't had a blip in form yet, this is it.
Hopefully we can bounce back bit injuries are killing us.

Klopp had success in Germany with Buvac at his side. The way our playing style has devolved could indicate that his loss is having a significant impact.

Too many injured players and player off form, we do not have the strength in depth that City have, we know that, we were down to our bare bones and it showed with the lack of options.
City will go top Wednesday, I can't see us going top again, maybe we'll do better chasing rather than leading...... I've got no sympathy for Klopp if that is going to be the excuse "Down to our bare bones"! He had a full fcuking month to bring in reinforcements I'm not having the bollox that you can't get anybody in January. We are top of the league and coming into January were being touted as the current best domestic team in world football...that right there is enough credit to bring in some decent players. Lallana, Henderson, Matip, Lovren, Sturridge and Origi are players that wouldn't have needed a search party to find better than them! I haven't watched the game but I'm fcuking disgusted Klopp knew we had injury and quality problems before January and he allowed an England International RB walk out the door on loan, knowing full well he'd have to use players not familiar with the role! If he fcuks this up we haven't a hope in hell to get close to another title challenge in the next decade! I'm saying as I saw it, not sure what Klopp will say, we should have got some more cover in January, if we couldn't. we should not let the likes of Clyne leave, Clyne would have played tonight, Milner would have been much better in MF than Keita who we all knows is truly off form, with Clyne at RB. But the fact remains, even reinforcing in January, City are always going to be stronger than us, they have the likes of Sane/Mahrez/Jesus/Gundogan who can come in when required, they take the likes of Sterling/Silva off and do not lose quality, we cannot do that. Sure City would still have a stronger squad but maybe a better CF would have burried Origi's chance, who knows?

People need a bit of perspective here. Any other year and we would be 10points clear.

instead of being abusive why don't you explain what is going on and the future and what you want from this club I’m ever so sorry if I’ve hurt your feelings old chap. It wasn’t my intention so please accept my most sincere of apologies. You've no answer basically. No it just bothered me that I may have hurt the delicate little flower. Ok then, what I want is winners at the club. People like yourself who can handle the cut and thrust of the premier league.

I'm gutted it isn't the 7points clear. But Bournemouth at home next while city have Chelsea.
A chance to get some confidence back.

Better to be in our position than theirs. Shame some can’t grasp the reality of the situation and use some perspective.

There's a certain DeJavu to all this...
08/09 season just after half way we were leading and then run out of steam and ideas.
13/14 season we seemed to be timing our run to perfection following Chelsea who then collapsed for us to overtake them just as the winning post came in to view. Then we had Gerrard's infamous slip and we sank again running out of steam and ideas allowing City to pip us.
Both seasons we chose not to do any business in the January Transfer Windows. However this time around it seems that we really needed to bring some new faces in not just for the fact to improve the team but out of bare a.rsed necessity because of the squad being depleted.
Yes we can all be Playstation FIFA heroes, however the facts are glaring that Klopp's squad was threadbare already leading up to January. Then we get into January and the team starts to become even more depleted by injuries and bans.
Klopp does not trust the kids we have or players who will be gone in the summer, who still are prevalent fixtures on our bench. There seems to be an over reliance on players who don't fit Klopp's style of play but are there simply to make up the numbers. Camacho, Jones, Sturridge, Origi, Moreno and Lallana are not the future of Liverpool and yet they take up places on our bench time and again in a season that started so wonderfully.
Even the most optimistic of fans must see we missed a big opportunity in the January Transfer Window!
