Totally agree, the width and quality crossing was really missed, Moreno & Clyne just don't give that. We looked very disjointed, shows you how far we've come when that defense was pretty much our starting defence just over 12 months ago, shows you why they are no where near the team.

Overall we were abit unlucky, one offside goal and a Worldy from Hazzard, lets see how we do with our first team at the weekend as none of these players showed why they should be back in the starting line up at the weekend.

Can we all just imagine what's gonna happen to us if Robbo or Van Dijk gets an injury.

People keep going on about our amazing squad depth and forget just how bad Lovren and Moreno are.

Van Dijk is a doubt for tomorrow evening's game against Chelsea according to reports. If he trains today then he's probably OK but if he doesn't then he's most likely out unfortunately. That's going to be a major loss and Hazard will be licking his chops I'm afraid.

Unless we get our attack back to last season's level we will not win tomorrow's game, our defence will be tested but I feel we will cope if VVD is back. In fact it's not all our attack but Salah, Mane is at least as good as last year and Firmino is about the same, it's Salah who is not pulling the same weight. About time

Yeah it's all about whether we can hit our best level again, if we do then I think we can blitz them. However we haven't once hit our best level this season, so there's a slight worry there, a flat performance from us will see us coming away empty handed I fear. Klopp needs to get them ramped up and that rather undeserved loss on Wednesday last should make his task easier as you say red, let's hope so.

Really need VVD for this one, I'll go as far as to say if we play Lovren up against Giroud we'll lose. I expect us to be better in midfield and Firminho will press n press so we'll be a different animal from midweek.
