But even if we assume that it's true Terry was treated better because he's English and white, that reflects conservatism and a white racist establishment, not Marxism. I think the Police would have thought twice about wasting time getting involved... at worst they may have contacted the player to give him a warning perhaps. Now that someone has referred the matter to them they may have to be seen to be doing something.
