BBC are reporting they want £66 million, so we're pretty close: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44864358Seems like we might actually get a keeper, be happy if we do, I wonder if we could put Migs as part of the deal? straight £62 million or £65 million if they take Migs as well!  If we sign him I think Ward will stay as number 2, Karius & Migs will go.

I notice he's got some acne or some sort of skin condition on his face, maybe FSG will entertain us (like they usually do) knocking his price down because of this?

Top GK in Europe, Brazil's number 1, and kept Ederson out of the Brazil team. Brilliant if true. I wanted to see Karius work, but it's clearly an upgrade.

And if he works out as I'd expect him to, he'll be with us for at least ten years, so will be a bargain when looked at from that angle. I hope we get him as the keeper situation was fast becoming a joke.

For us to keep hold of these South American players we have to knock the Spanish clubs off their perch. We have to make it so there is no better clubs than ourselves so their heads aren't turned. To do this we have to be winning competitions again, home and abroad. A title challenge this season may just be asking too much unless all the new players hit the ground running and it's a smooth transition to our playing style. Man City were 25 points clear of us for a reason, they had consistency and depth. We just have to get the consistency part because our depth is now much better.
