Two quality CB's in one season when it's taken us years to buy one of genuine quality..yeh ok. We've signed a centre half (Or 2) every year since Carra left. 30 million gets Lovren or Sakho. 75 gets VVD. I know who I want.

4 instance, is keita really needed ? that money would get a top keeper How many times have people complained about our quality in Midfield? He's one of the best box to box mids in Europe. And he looks a monster in red so far. how many timeshave people complained weneed a keeper, ps , i like keita, but last season he was [oops], same asour 2 keepers tbh

That's better than nothing. And he was not Sh*te. He only had two fewer goals and assists than last year, with 1796 minutes played vs 2418. Not more productive, but much more efficient.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Imagine spending 30mil on a relegated keeper.
15mil on a relegated defender
And another decent sum on a former ex manc who was garbage for the majority of his career

First thing. Pickford was way too expensive. He is what? The third most expensive keeper in the world? After a less than great season at Sunderland and a poor season with everton. He had a really good world cup. But so did the Mexico keeper Ochoa. He's not worth 30mil.
Maguire for 15mil. Well I said he'd be a bargain. He reminded me of carragher. No nonsense defender. He can actually play too tho. But at the time I remember thinking he was expensive.
Jonny Evans is garbage. He had a decent season at WBA and got relegated. He doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a top side and that's why he's at Leicester.

Both Maguire and Evans are too slow for us, our CB are most of the time closer to the middle of the pitch than in the box and non are that good with their feet.
