Are there many pro footballers that can?

I thought he just looked like another Kirkland.

But he's surprised me.

Pickford has certainly been inspired playing for Engerland. I am really impressed how he maintains concentration and can pull off a great save after not touching the ball for long periods. He is aggressive too, which is a good thing for a goalkeeper.

Nah he's too small, he hasn't really been challenged on set pieces in The World Cup yet. The one team who had one half decent header of the ball, Colombia made us / him pay. He hasn't had the opportunity to command the ball on crosses because England have big CB's in Maguire & Stones.

His 1st full season with The Bitters under Fat Sam's park the bus tactics still seen him ship 58 goals in the prem. He;s got decent agility but he's been well protected by England's defence.

I'd much prefer Burnley's Keeper - Pope. He's taller and much more commanding on set pieces. He got his chance when Heaton got injured and hasn't looked back. 35 goals conceded in the prem last season in 35 appearances.

Seeing as things have gone worryingly quite on the search for a new keeper,are people starting to think that Butland might not be such a bad idea as we head closer to another season with Karius still our number 1?

I think the window closes Aug 9? Alisson is still for sale, maybe his price tag has a lot to do with that as it's not just us that's not bidding for him.
At this stage I'd settle for giving Ward a go.

It depends on what level our ambition is at, whether we go for top quality keeper or settle for Karius and Ward. For me we have to bite the bullet and go for top quality, if we want to win anything in the coming season. It's hard to understand why Klopp is pervaraciting on this issue considering Karius's performances in the CL final and since in training and then in the last preseason game, unless he's playing for time until after the WC final next Sunday. Whatever it is he has to bite the bullet now, or else risk betraying the Club and the fans.

I'm not sure if Alison is top quality for top buck though Herc.

100m euro is a lot of money. Very few clubs can afford than
