Take away the CL final Karius has been good since he has replaced Mingolet. He is far from [oops]. There was plenty of talk on forums this season that we would not need a keeper in the summer because he was playing well.


Previous coaches have come out and said that the guy is talented and his form at the start with us was not what they had seen of him previously. I'm sure Klopp & coaches know enough about him to make a decision. I'd say Klopp does not want to spend 30-40m or whatever on a new keeper who he feels will not be a huge upgrade in quality for the outlay.

We have seen with VVD that he will wait for what he wants

I think you're right Paul. He wasn't that bad until the brain fart in the ECL final. But he never gave us real confidence. I'd rather stick with him than put Flappy the Clown back in goal that's for sure.

I don't think Alisson is worth anything close to what people are quoting so unless we can get Oblak (very doubtful), we may have to stick and see how we get on.

A good option then would be another top quality CB to partner VvD.

If a striker missed two open goals in a CL final he'd rightly be criticised but he wouldn't be bombed out the club never to play again.

He had a mare. But I'd rather keep him if we can't get Alisson or Oblak. Not that I've seen much of either but if we can't get our first or second choice. Then what's the point?

It's a tricky one. Karius was dropped for being terrible. Mignolet came in and got dropped for also being terrible. Karius was then reinstated when Van Dijk came to the club and the whole defence improved with his presence, so I don't think it's fair to give too much credit to Karius - Mignolet could easily have looked better with Virgil in front of him as well.

It's fair to say that neither keeper is anywhere near good enough for us, and both will cost us un-necessary points if they are kept at the club.

You can get away with it if you're world class, but not if you've just given the worst CL performance in history and embarrassed yourself. What a tool!!

Why can you get away with it if you're 'world class' or not? People call Pogba world class and he looks every bit as big a d!ck in his Instagram posts.

I'd also question what relevance his holiday has to how he's played? Is he not allowed a holiday because he had a shocker? If that's the case then there'd be a lot of footballers going without a holiday as more than him have had shockers. Lovren would owe us time in fact.

We'll win nowt with Karius or Mingers in goal that's for sure. Can't believe Klopp will stick with him and I'm hoping there's something brewing under the surface that we're all unaware of - like the Fabinho out of nowhere signing.

No issues for him to have holidays but why post to the whole world thf he is doing. Is anybody excited about this? If not, what's the objective?

He can do whatever he wants on his holiday as far as I'm concerned.

But if I was so bad at my trade I wouldn't post professional videos on Instagram showing off my holiday. What's the point of that, if not to look like a N:o 1 player? Which he certainly isn't!

This looks just like Jordan Henderson's antics the other day. Why do keepy uppies before you take a penalty shot if you can only manage 5? And why set up like Ronaldo before the penalty?

Awkward and cringeworthy behaviour from these 2 players imo.

If you are that limited at your skills you should just keep a low profile and try to improve. It's not time for them to show off (at least not yet).
