I agree.

A change to anyone else that our players haven't seen closely will up their confidence in the keeper. As it is now they all know we are a brain fart away from conceding no matter what they do.

For all we know Karius might actually be good, but he seems just so bl**dy nervous that it's cantageous for anyone within a mile's distance from him.

We need a change and I think there are good enough keepers out there to at least surpass the 2 duds we are currently putting our faith in.

I have a feeling that Karius will be our number 1 keeper next season. Same feeling I had when we didn't buy VVD last summer and didn't replace Coutinho in Jan. I feel that Klopp will say he didn't get better than he have from who is available. He might ask to name 5 available keepers who are better than what we have

Club ‘pushing’ for Liverpool goalkeeper, advantage as good contacts with Anfield club

By Nihat Emre Kocaaslan -
5th July 2018

Takvim report Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has identified Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet as a target and is ‘pushing’ for the goalkeeper.

The Turkish giants are in the market for a goalkeeper this summer and they’ve already been linked with a move for Arsenal’s David Ospina.

Last season the Belgian was dropped by Jurgen Klopp in favour of German Loris Karius and the player has previously stated he could leave Liverpool to find regular first-team football.

According to Takvim, Comolli still has very good contacts with Liverpool and he’s looking to raid his former club by targeting Mignolet. The Frenchamn had a spell as the Merseyclub’s sporting director a few seasons ago.

It’s also claimed Mignolet may be interested in playing for Fenerbahce and the Belgium international is currently considering his options.

Mignolet played 22 games for Liverpool in all competitions last season and is under contract with the Reds until 2021.
