With the amount weve spent and will still likely spend, will Klopp be under pressure to win the league this year?

We have been in 3 cup finals so either a bit of luck Klopp would already be a legend. He's done extremely well and over achieved every year.

However he is likely to be under the spot light a lot more this year due to the quality and price of the players brought in. Liverpool fans will again enjoy the ride but the reporters and pundits will say that this squad now should be capable of winning things.

Is it one league cup in the last 12 years? Could have been so much better.

Does he (and Liverpool) have to win anything of merit for the owners to keep him on - No.
Does he just have to finish in the top 4 and be competitive? Answer is yes.
Would Klopp feel comfortable with winning nothing worthwhile next season? That depends on his salary.

With a bigger and better squad we'll no doubt be more consistent, and with that will come more success.

No more pressure on Klopp. If we can keep our best players and add some more talent we will achieve, just wait and see.

He will always be under some pressure while we do not win a trophy, most fans are happy we are improving and playing better football, we can all see the improvements.

As Van Gogh said, with a bigger and better quality squad like he is assembling now, we will challenge and win trophies.

As long as FSG don't sell any of our star players from under him!

He won't be under pressure from the Owners because he is an asset for them.

He should be under pressure from the fans because of the amount of time he has been with us. The fact we've now lost 3 Cup Finals in a row under him adds to that pressure.

If he fails to deliver success in the form of a trophy this coming season I believe the excuse to be used will be Buvac's departure and whomever takes his place - time for adjustment.

Surely the excuse will be that Achterberg will have ruined any keeper we may buy?

I don't think he should be under any pressure. I'd hope we look at the bigger picture and see the quality of players who are desperate to join us.

We've progressed.

We could do with a win though. We have made a good deal of progress since Klopp arrived but silverware is what we all want so he has to break that duck as soon as possible.

We have to cut that 25 point deficit to City and make sure we're not running on fumes with the finish line in sight again like we have for the past 2 seasons, in securing what should be bare minimum continuity in the CL for the following season. A title tilt is probably too high an expectation but 2nd place should be achievable along with a trophy.
