Mignolet is better goalkeeper than Karius so it would be an instant improvement.
To replace Mignolet with just someone of a similar level such as Butland would be expensive.
A solution could be to buy a less experienced keeper, like how we bought Karius, and then hope he develops into a much better goalkeeper. Look at the development of Robertson for instance.
Mignolet is better than Karius but he's off. I think I'd rather have Butland over Mignolet and I think this was the original plan but it may have changed somewhat now. Oblak is immense. I'd love to see him signed.
