I like Karius. He hasn't given me a reason to I just think he will be a top keeper some day.
Maybe I'm just used to seeing Mignolet in goal and thinking at least it's not that bad.
I think he deserves another season. We've had worse players get more time than him and Mignolet was given more chances than anyone deserved.
If he is shocking next year then yeah he needs replacing. But he is young and Klopp saw something in him when he signed him.
Just curious, What has he done to give you this belief ?
He is not as bad as a lot of people are making out. The final was a disaster. Take out the final and on the lead, up to it, he has been good.
The top keepers on the market at the moment are not going to be that easy to bring in. Some of the names I have seen thrown about. Butland. The likes of Butland are no better than Karius and if they are it is minimal. These guys in clubs like stoke get pelted with shots from outside the box all day long as they play a defensive style of football. So there save stats look good.
Put Butland and co in the Liverpool team where there is only 3 shots on target and those 3 shots on target are from 6 yards out because we are an attacking team and teams look to hit us on the counter and see how well his stats look then.
