At 3-1 with the game over I was hoping someone would just go in with a two footed challenged on the cvnt and stop him going to the World Cup as he looks to have done to Salah

I don't think our players are chickens... they just play the game the way it should be played... honest and fair. Problem is, the game is essentially corrupt and the likes of Real Madrid get away with underhand methods.

I agree that some players may be a lttle soft.

I think Keita who has a poor disciplinary record may be the sort of person to bring a bit of nastiness into our team.
I'm not on about being a thug just someone who can protect the assets by taking one for the team every now and then

But will Klopp knock that out of Keita and turn him into a model professional? Klopp has stated he doesn't want his players making the most of fouls/exaggerating tackles for penalties etc, but I think we are missing a trick as everyone else is doing that, to win big games like last night against experienced teams, you need abit of streetwise play.

As for the Salah tackle, if it would have been any other player apart from Ramos, I would have thought just an accidental clash and they fell awkward......

rugby tackle I presume? i agree it looks accidental in full speed and when we saw it live, but once you see the close up slow motion replay surely you can see that it's a well disguised grip and tug on Salah's arm. Someone mentioned it being like a martial arts throw.

A very cynical and deliberate foul and a disgrace to the game of football and to sport generally and very much in character for this bully boy. I hope the authorities deal with it but I'm pretty sure the'll all look the other way.

Defenders do it all the time and often the attacker is doing the same thing then goes to ground. Argy bargy.
