If we had an Italian contingent of players at the club I'd say go get Buffon but as there's not, I don't think he'd be interested.
I'd like Oblak but know we'll end up with Butland instead! We have had Italian players before and every one of them has been absolutely shyte. I shudder to think where we would be with a contingent of them. We must go for Oblak or Allison. Butland is simply not good enough.

He's cost us the game. But you can't help but feel for the guy. He didn't want to play like that.

We did really well to get to The Final but our Achilles heel has always been the squad depth and dodgy Keepers for too many years.
Unless serious money is spent we'll be suffering the same fate, especially the way we play.

Klopps fault in the end. He's had the shoddy keeper situation for two years and now it's finally bitten him on the arse.
Unlucky with salah going off but also echoes of Rodgers and the one man team that was Suarez Absolute tosh. We got it back to 1-1 without Salah. We were fukked due to injuries to key players that could have made a difference. This 11 or 12 group got us there when we needed 13 or 14 to make it count. They had the subs we didn't. And Karius fukked up big time twice but we are far from a one man team. No. You're wrong. We got a goal from a set piece Which never happens. Fluke. It all changed after he went off Yes of course it all changed. Our whole game depended on the front 3 being outstanding. All they had to do was take one of them out. Ramos is a crafty kunt and knew exactly what he was doing. The set piece was a great header by Lovren. Please give the team some credit for it. This is not a one man team.

Our bench was woeful not one player was as remotely good as the 11 on the pitch But we knew that 5 weeks ago when Ox got injured we lost any decent player we could put on the bench fit enough to change a game. No surprises there.

He's cost us the game. But you can't help but feel for the guy. He didn't want to play like that. But he did and no manager can pin hopes on him again. One howler is bad in any game. Two is point of no return I'm afraid. He made some good saves also but has to be able to deal with the bread and butter stuff.

Two is point of no return I'm afraid. He made some good saves also but has to be able to deal with the bread and butter stuff. Klopp will probably sit down with him at some point and let him down gently. I suspect he has two options: a permanent move or a season long loan initially... probably back to Germany.

He made some good saves but will now be remembered for the 2 mistakes. I think inexperience played a part. He certainly has the potential to be a very good goalkeeper. Don’t write him off yet.
Our outfield players are more in need of upgrade.
