If Clyne is match fit I would play him, we need experience. I don't think Can will be match fit.

Clyne is unlikely to be up to full sharpness, so I'd opt for TAA despite some concerns re: inexperience. Can won't be at full sharpness either so it has to be Wijnaldum to start. Both of Clyne and Can might be required on or after 60mins though.

Unless Can has had a change of heart and is staying, then he shouldn't even be on the plane. He's hindering the chance for somebody else to take part, who have a part to play in our future.
It's likely TAA will be the one tasked in keeping Ronaldo quiet because Clyne is not match fit. I hope TAA tests that dodgy right ankle of Ronaldo's at the first given opportunity.

Trent is faster, bigger, better on the ball, sharper, and more experienced in Europe I like Clyne, but he's on the bench. Can is an option, and would likely be my first sub, but he's been out.

This game isn't about the future, it's about a chance to bring home the trophy. The best available should play. Souness' last game was a Cl final, and what a swansong it was. If he wins the match, I don't care if he fcks off next year.
