Anybody seen the Crouch story coming out of the UK pre season rumour mill? Getting linked to a return to the reds, personally I'd welcome him at the right price.

But the fact Rafa got rid of him in the first place suggests he doesn't fancy him.

Any thoughts?

yeah I agree Raf - the reason he wanted to leave in the first place was because he wasn't getting enough first team footy - pretty ironic when you think how many games he would have started with Torres missing last season - but anyhow, I can't see the point in him coming back as he'll be in the same situation as before, if not worse...
Great player to have to come on and change things though - he'd have been a good player to beat the likes of Stoke and Hull...

Absolutely. Great player and character, and I'm sure many of us would be delighted to see him back, me included. I was gutted when he left.

Would we perhaps have won the PL if he'd stayed with us?
Who knows, but I reckon that mimimal 4 point gap would have certainly been less if 'Lurch' had still been with us.

I'd welcome him back but I don't see it happening. He would look very foolish if he did.

I'd have Crouch back too. When he was with us he offered us a different attacking approach and held the ball up well when on his own up front. Problem is though he will want more game time than what he'll get at LFC due the World Cup. I doubt he will come back.

Don't see him being one of the two Rafa is talking about.
