Can't see Migs wanting to goto the Championship, or Stoke being able to pay his wages.
Bringing Joe Allen back might be a good move, if he's willing to be part of a squad and rotate.

Joe Allen could be a useful squad player. He was useful in our Europa league run.

Joe Allen could be a useful squad player. He was useful in our Europa league run. The problem is he left to play regular football, I can't see him getting anymore football now if he came back, but he'd be a good squad player, he can play Klopp's system and would strengthen the squad, but not really a first team regular.

Joe F eking Allen you have to be kidding That’s the class of player that’s our future ? I B loody hope not let’s bring back Apas too FFS ! What about mario too off the bench great addition NOT Take an asprin and calm down. I said he could be a useful squad player, which he was before we sold him. He was actually doing quite well for us as an impact sub, particularly in the Europa league, but he left to start. I am not clamoring for us to sign him. I would hardly cheer if we did, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

No question about it 1) The point of the thread was relegated players that might be worth a punt. Klopp isn't actually looking at them as far as we know. So please untwist your knickers. No one is clamoring to sign him. 2) He did very well in that last season. He came on as an impact sub and developed a cult following. He changed some games, and he had a role in getting us to two finals. He's hardly a world beater, but he's techniclaly sound, a good worker, and a decent character to have around. He's more useful than what we had on the bench against Brighton, which was f*ck all.

No question about it Robertson was relegated with Hull, he's turned out to be a very good buy and solved our LB problems for £10 million, buying superstar names is not always the answer, look at Sanchez at Utd.

You said he’s worth a punt I said no he’s not ! Right so it’s you who’s upset that someone’s disagreed with you only way he would get in our team now is if we were relegated he’s an ok player at best nowhere near what we need now going forward imo you think he’d be ok fine I disagree Who on the Bench vs Brighton is better than him? Honest question. Is Camacho better? Or Curtis Jones? Who would you trust more to change a game? Allen isn't exactly a super sub, but he's an international. It's not hard to be a step up from that. Seriously though, no one actually wants to sign these players. This is a what-if thread for fun, picking the least terrible of what's available.

Yep he was young up and coming ! can’t say that about Allen, who’s a step back in my opinion ! plus he’s already played for us and was underwhelming Wee Joe is a trooper. Not a collosus that we still need. I rate him on par or above Hendo or Widj and Can, but that doesnt mean he is good enough for what we need as a midfield general. We don't have one. Naby and Grujic look a far better combo in my opinion
