I'm hearing rumours that Can wants 200k a week and that Citeh are now sniffing around him. He ain't getting £200k a week from us. He won't get it anywhere else either. He is barely worth £100k a week even in the market today. I think he is scared of moving on and has backed himself into a corner by listening to his agent too much. His agent won't get anything of the fee but he can get part of his wages or cut a deal with a new club for trading him around like a piece of meat. We are the biggest club he could play for realistically and whatever he thinks Juventus and Man City are not bigger clubs. Perhaps he may realise how big a club we are when we shock everyone and win the CL. Perhaps that would be a good time to tell him to fukk off. I like him as a player but this holding the club t ransom nonsense has to stop. We have already signed a player for next season who is earmarked as starting ahead of him. Ox will be starting ahead of him week in week out next season as will any high profile player we get to replace Coutinho. A fully fit Lallana starts ahead of him. Why on earth would we offer him £200k a week to warm the bench? As a free transfer, he may get the £200K he wants, we wont pay it, but allot of teams will, look at how much Utd are paying players that are/were sat on the bench like Fellaini/Mkhitaryan, PSG/RM/Man City do similar, they can afford to. He's a good player, he's been one of our first choice CM this season and we've had a good season, so I won't knock him as a player. I don't like all this posturing with deals talking about wanting a big club move, it's pretty disrespectful to the club/fans/players/managers who have supported him and help make him the player he is. Klopp wants commitment and players that believe, so I think he has burnt his bridges there, so I doubt he can turn round and suddenly sign a deal with us, its a shame if he leaves on a free, but he's replaceable.

I don't think Juve are going to pay that 200k p.w Can demands if it is true. They are not financially better off than us and breaking their wage structure could lead to unhappiness among their current players. City could afford to pay that but Can isnt going to dislodge de bruyne or gundogan.

No, don't think a lot of teams will pay him 200k, I would say only 5-6 teams can pay that kind of wages, United, City, Barca, Real, PSG maybe Chelsea, but they all have better players earning less. His agent is in delusion, even Coutinho was in 150m

Yes but coutinho was never gonna get 200k and bought for £150m
Can in today's game is probably a £50m player. So he can get a massive wage as no club will have to pay the fee

He should have been sold last summer when he had value or told to sign a new contract or he will be frozen out the 1st team squad, thus putting his German World Cup Squad participation into doubt. It should never have come to this because he'll now use The World Cup as a springboard to getting what he wants with us or elsewhere.
He can put whatever he wants on his instagram account but the fact is that he is biting the hand that feeds him and being disrespectful. You might have sympathy for him if we were a club struggling but we are not and if he thinks he is better than us, then he has delusions of grandeur!

I can't see what all the fuss is about really. Firstly I dont believe every rumor I read in the press. Secondly the club owners play "moneyball" buying and selling players so when a player or agent uses the same game themselves against their club to make more money, we cant complain. Thirdly there are No More Heroes anymore. The big players want fame and fortune as quickly as possible and they wont hang around when an opportunity arises.
That is football in 2018.

My guess is Emre will end up at City, they won't have any issues with 200k, as said already no transfer fee to be paid... He won't have to move house..
It appears city are looking for a replacement for Fernandinho CM.. He past 30 so I believe..
Does explain why he not signed anything, or we have not been told he signed already for Juve..
