The moment he stalled on signing a new contract was the moment he should have been phased out the 1st team squad. With his participation in Germany's World Cup squad at stake I'm sure he would have changed his tune. Still time to make things awkward for the ungrateful runt!

Just a thought. again all about how you define it...your right Owen won the Ballon D'Or with us, he won it on the back of scoring goals in the Europa League and because he scored a hatrick against the worst German side in living memory...yes that's the season he won it....same season Raul of Real Madrid scored a similar amount of goals, won the league with Madrid and I think he scored same or similar amount of goals in the Champions League and they gave it to Michael Owen...make of that what you want. Just for the record and you seem to like these types of awards...I suppose you think George Burley was the best manager in 2001, he guided Ipswich Town to fifth place in the league even tho Sir Alex Ferguson won the League and Gerard Houllier won us a League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League...

swapshop Unregistered S	Time will tell if Keita is a better player than Caan, I think Caan fancies playing alongside his pal at Juve...Sammi Kideira, If he has a good World Cup am sure the big clubs will be in for him like a lot of players who play well in that tournament...
