See nothing wrong with what he says, every player should be ambitious and have dreams of getting to the top and all players want to play for the biggest clubs, I see no difference between what he wants to do and that if Suarez, Torres, Sterling and Coutinho and maybe Salah after next season if he can maintain this seasons form.
This is just football, a players carrer is the most important thing to them, let's face it it's only a short one and they will do whatever they can to reach the top...

If Klopps thinks playing Can makes us a better team, we should take emotion out the equation. I don't think he'll be a huge loss, but the fee is a kick in the knackers.

I do think we're the best team he could get in at the moment, even then because we have a very average midfield. I'm not sure he's checked his stats recently...

I can see what he means. I don't think he meant any disrespect but let's be honest. We are not a very big club. We are not Madrid Barca Bayern or Juventus. We don't win leagues anymore.

If he thinks he's good enough for those teams he is mistaken tho. He's barely good enough for us.

sometimes when you play alongside better players you become a better player yourself...Suarez was a good player at Ajax...went to a bigger Club with us then turned into a very good player...then moved to a Bigger club again with Barca and turned into a world class player...Caan obviously feels he will get better alongside better players on a bigger stage...let's face it...he's young enough to develop into it....

The teams he mentions have a midfield better than ours. And he isn't even a guaranteed starter for us.

He forgot the part where Top clubs want top players. Juventus are in the top-5 teams in the world; I don't know what makes Can thinks he can fit in Juventus.

I don't see that it matters at all. Players say what suits them at the time. Most say they love their current club, then move on when a better offer is tabled.

If the comments from Can are true, then bye bye Emre and good luck. But I don't think he is world class and I don't think he will be seriously hunted by the big boys, not as a star player anyway, maybe as a squad player.

The reference to wanting to be at a "top club" hurts though. It hurts a lot.

Suarez was already world class in his last season with us, it just got easier for him with better players around. Can can feel whatever he wants, the puff of the pudding is in the eating.

How can he be regarded as world class in his last season...he missed out on the League, never played in the champions league and won a solitary League Cup in his Anfield career is this your idea of world class level....Bale world class on his last season at trophyless Spurs too...
