Germany international is open to the idea of playing in Spain, Germany, Italy or France.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can believes he has all the qualities required to play for a “very big club” next season.

The Germany international is expected to leave Anfield as a free agent when his contract expires in June.

Can has failed to agree terms with the Reds on an extension and has been heavily linked with Juventus. He says he won’t make a FINAL decision until the summer but insists that any potential suitor must be capable of challenging for the biggest prizes.

He told Süddeutsche Zeitung: “Sure, the Bundesliga would interest me, why not? Although I must say honestly that the level has waned in recent years.

“The Premier League has the power to spend more money on players than the Bundesliga . This is very, very important for players.

“I have the self-confidence to say that my qualities are sufficient to play in a very big club next season.”

Can explained that being “an important part of the team” and being at a club that “has the prospect of winning the title” will be decisive factors in his decision.

“That’s what every footballer dreams of because that’s the reward for the work,” Can added.

“I’m doing great in England. The Spanish league is also attractive. The same applies to Germany, where tactics are concerned, and the Italian club football, which has recently caught up.

“Incidentally, the same applies to France, this league has now established itself as one of the best in Europe. Therefore, I do not want to exclude anything because I do not know what I will do from the summer.”

Time for Klopp to phase him out, doesn't deserve to participate any further in The CL in my book! Only use him when needed, he's not indispensable and is far too inconsistent.

When did he suffer a head injury and wake up believing he was Franz Beckenbauer ?

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

He should just be quiet, he's a very good player, but can be replaced.

Sooner or later one of these players going for a free summer transfer is going to get a bad injury to rule them out for something like 12 months, will be interesting to see what happens then, as they are taking a big risk.

Don't know what big club he is talking about but the bigger the club the bigger the chance of him being on the bench

I think its clear he is putting pressure on the club to raise his wages. Every player does this now while getting advice from an agent.

I think he has been offered a new contract with higher wages but I suppose he wants some kind of an auction as he is going to cost nothing. So that's the only way he can maximise his wages.

Our American owners don't like pìsstakes like this (and I don't blame them).

They know how to deal with business, and can't see them buckle in to these cheap tricks.

I say treat him accordingly and just replace him with better quality. End of. Close the door after you on your way out Emre!

You shouldn't get emotional about this and I am sure FSG won't as they are business people. They will keep Can for wages that make sense and Can is fully entitled to do what he is doing as he is respecting his contract unlike Suarez and Coutinho for example.

Let him go and bring in Fabinho or Kondogbia, then bring Grujic back from loan in the summer to add depth
