And here it is. It's time to invade Russia. Stan of course will be the first to volunteer.

It's obvious that Russia is behind this and something should be done. Putin is a monster. The UN is condemning it as a Russian attack, and the poison used is one that can only be made by Russian operatives. It's like they signed the bullet. It's clearly a power play. Telling that Trump (Putin's stooge to the end) won't condemn it.

But the first thing would probably to stop taking bribes from Russian Oligarchs and imposing sanctions. War is the last resort. Jumping into it too soon is just as bad as waiting too late.

War is not an option.

UK invading Russia? Of course it is an option,ask Stan. The mighty Empire will strike back...maybe, who knows?

No one is suggesting it is. But this is clearly a state backed attack, one that could've killed hundreds of innocent people and the first chemical weapons attack in Europe since the second world war. Russia can't be allowed to get away with it can they?

As someone suggested, your government should freeze Russian assets in UK (Abramovich's would not be too bad ;)) , but will they do it? Attacking Russia is not an option and they are already under sanctions, so what else? Not delivering visa to Russians maybe.

Britain attacking Russia is not an option. However this poison incident is but one of many there are now regular Russian sea and air incursions testing our reactions. The Baltic states are under real threat of Russian invasion. And garrisons of British troops and typhoon squadrons are based their ready to defend (with their lives because they will be overwhelmed) to protect these countries and ultimately Britain. The evil British troops remember them ? Funny enough there are no incidents of them killing innocent locals in fact as far as I am aware the locals are very grateful to have them there. Quite a bit different from another place I could mention. After the Soviet Union collapsed many Russians felt humiliated and defeated there is a view in Russian political circles many of the countries bordering Russia are either a threat or need liberating. It's very dangerous indeed and the west would be wise to build up its defences certainly EU countries should pay on defence more few of them meet the 2% GDP target that needs to change we can't rely on America forever
