I wanted a glamour tie with a European superpower, but it should be a cracker. We have a chance and a decent record against them.

We play Everton between the 2 legs, the bitters would love to crock a few of our key players like salah & vvd, pl result will be important, so we cannot rest anyone.

Can't say I'm confident of beating them over the two legs, but it all depends on our mentality and how much we want it. If we turn up with our A game on both legs it's ours IMO. I think on our day we can out score them, but we'll have to be on song, and our defence will have to man up. Klopp too will have to get the selection and tactics right, so it's no given, but we can do it.

So we just need to beat them 5-0 in the first leg

How can that Everton game played....if we do well at home against City we have to rest players and could lose top 4 place.

With City being the superior team it's going to be all about what they do...if they play as well as they can do then there is not a thing we can do about it because our A game is nowhere near as good as there A game. We have to hope we bring ours and they have another off day twice like they did in the League game at Anfield when we edged them in a thriller...

United fans are in agony right now. They know one of us are going to make it through, and they're terrified of one of us winning it. Most of them prefer City to us winning, but they are quite amusing right now.

This is what 'anything can happen in a football match' means. That said, we are the only ones whose been able to beat them in the league. So as a Bluenose I suppose it's normal for you to demean the club again.
