Think this highlights the way things are in this day and age where every single mistake is taken to the max and punished in the strongest possible way...common sense or the punishment fitting the criime sadly doesn't come into it now. Look at the Presidents Dinner few months ago and the knock on effect from that, that led to no more ring girls on boxing, darts girls and formula One Pitt girls who all lost there jobs yet SKY still kept there female presenters, I know it's a bit different from Carragher episodes but SKY seem to change rules to suit themselves...
You want Sky to ban female presenters? Is this what you are saying?

SKY have banned the Pitt Girls from Formula One and the Darts Girls from leading the players out, they say they don't want fellers ogling them or seeing them in sexist ways yet they employ eye candy to front there main sports shows as in the news and boxing...all I am saying is they will probably throw the book at Carragher because they come across as whiter than white, they make a stance on so called sexist behaviour with the things I just mentioned not to mention the Keys and Gray incident yet they blatenly employ eye candy to anchor there channels...double standards to me...
Stupidity from Carra really, no excuse for it. While theres no defending Jamie, I doubt he'll lose his job over it. Him and Neville making sky too much money imo.
On a separate note, guy who took the video definitely needs to get done for using his phone while driving. While you may think it's a pedantic issue, it's meant to be 6 points and a couple of hundred pound fine.
I've seen on the news today that the tw@t filming and driving, putting his daughter at more risk than just being spat at I might add, is going to be looked at by the police. Suggestion is he won't get the full 6 points and fine but more of a talking to, which makes that a bit of a waste of time. Still, at least we have a precedant set for if we want to use our phones while driving.
I'm afraid I can't see Carra being allowed back on SKY especially in the current climate of everything being magnified and everybody able to have their say immediately on the internet. Just like the dipsh*t driver who goaded Carra, there's millions out there who'll have their LFC bias say on it, hash tagging #SKY, #TheMurdochs, #FA, #Premierleague...just about any entity with pull in the gravy train that is EPL Football.
The loss to TV could be our gain, we should snap him up to help our Defensive Coaching out.

What has he done to suggest he'd be a good coach?
He's very experienced playing that position himself for all his career at LFC, he's also analysed lots of systems/styles of play at SKY, so you'd think he'd have something to offer for us, bring him at a lower level like we did with Gerrard.
He also has the passion of playing for Liverpool, he was very vocal in our team, more so than Gerrard, so just having that passion is worth having him around the club at least.
Just give him Lovren for the afternoon and let him sort him out

Be interesting to know how much he sold the video to the Mirror for, doesn't excuse the behaviour from Carra, but I'd like to see all the footage unedited, I cannot believe Carra reacted the way he did after the bloke saying 2-1 as he did? that's why SKY wanted to speak to Carra, to get the full story, feel's like a box ticking exercise to me by SKY following their disciplinary procedures before he is fired.

Their female sports readers don't prance about in bikini's (pity) but you're never going to see an ugly face front one of their shows, whether that be male or female. It's human nature to pay attention to an attractive face, whilst an ugly face is an immediate turn off, no matter how intelligent and articulate they are.

Yep. All we've seen is what has been edited to sell papers. The whole incident needs to be looked at from the behaviour of the driver all the way through to Carra spitting.
I also find it funny how the family are trying not to look like the bunch of cvnts they (probably) are by saying he should keep his job. Maybe the bloke should've thought more about the safety of his daughter than filming Carra and trying to get a rise out of him while driving? An advert for sterilization if ever there was one.
