How many times in modern society do we see people using their phones whilst driving? It's illegal and there have been a number of tragic vehicle accidents resulting from the use of mobile phones. I see videos on social media all the time from people who have filmed someone doing something whilst they are driving themselves. I think this should carry an automatic ban as it's only a matter of time before the inevitable accident happens. Before anyone accuses me of doing so, this isn't a defence of Jamie Carragher, spitting is horrible and he'll be punished accordingly. However, anyone using their mobile phone whilst driving needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and realise their actions could lead to much worse than being spat at!

The bloke who filmed should be punished for that and it might make other useless tw@ts that do the same think harder about doing it. Far too many wanna be YouTube stars out there that need sorting imo.

I can't imagine he hit the girl with spit doing 70mph down a motorway. No excuses of course, but what a bellend that fan was, not just putting his daughters life in danger.
Saw JC in Nottingham last week 'An evening with..'. Slightly disappointing night, typical money grab. Still, skinny as a rake that guy.. How did the night go? if you don't mind answering that is. It was good fun really, Alea casino in Notts. Free drinks and a nice meal, albeit it a little 'light'. I got a photo with Jamie, though wasn't paying £20 for a print (my brother got one).. I admit to being a little star struck, more so than when I met Chas & Dave! He didn't talk for too long and didn't really offer any 'gossip', just answered a few interview questions on football and they missed the fan Q&A. He also called Gary Neville his 'mate', greated by round boos. They rammed a charity partner down our necks a little, which was a cheek considering it was staged in a casino and we'd paid £110 a ticket.. I wouldn't rush back to that organiser, but it was cool as a one off. Would pay to see Gazza actually. They have Barnes and Rush there soon too.

I am not condoning what Carra has done but 5 or 10 years ago this sort of incident would have been swept under the carpet, after a public apology...but now every fcuker on the internet not an LFC fan will crucify him and go after him via his employers and any financial interests, just because he is a successful white hetrosexual man, the most vilified subject of the now!
