Just a quick question...is it better for us that a player like Mane doesn't play really well for us each season as the big clubs won't come in for him and he will stay put or is better that he does play well and improve so we can cash in and start the cycle over again?

So we need only mediocre players so that teams do not come after them, is this what you are saying? Your stupidity level is reaching some heights.

Your engaging again
Mane is going to get a pay rise probably firms and mo to 160k that’s so rivals can’t just offer a high fee but also have to increase there wages which means there harder to sign nothing to do with resale it’s about retention imo

I am not engaging but just telling him what he is. Useless to debate such stupid arguments

Player celebrations are becoming pretty dumb, but Mane is a very talented player, no doubt about that. Whether be can perform at the top level for at least one complete season remains to be seen and rewarding a mis-firing player with more money seems premature.

But FSG know what they are doing when it comes to money and business.

Football and money go hand in hand, you'll need to accept it.

We're a big club, we just don't have a sugar daddy so selling players isn't to make a profit, it's to clear funds for re-investment. It means we won't have a team of super stars but with a man like Klopp at the helm, we could have a great team.

I don't know know what the answer is apart from capping team spend completely, but then big teams would start swapping the best players, or find some other way round it. Capitalism = perpetual growth.

Since the PL/Sky was introduced it's all changed, so of course they go hand in hand. Money is everything in football now, the good and the bad. Owners want money through the team/fans and fans want success by buying the best players.

QF of the CL suggests we're a big club.
