Depends on the draw and Salah/Bobby staying fit.
Maybe Sevilla will knock Utd out and we'll draw them, maybe we'll draw Barca and get mullered. I'd be fairly confident against anyone but Barca/City over 2 legs, though even then we've shown we can raise our game. I'd fancy Chelsea at the moment too, and United.
Would a CL win be a bigger triumph than 2005 comparing the squads?

Soz if I am a complete dill, but I don't see why we have concerns after the Porto match. Great win, it's the side we were drawn against - we won, big... Next opposition please.
We will give anyone a game.......... Or 2 for knockout stages..

We've just won 5-0 away from home in the Champions League knockout game and a thread has been started expressing concerns after the game in question!
Utterly ridiculous. No not ridiculous, just unhappy that we are doing better than under his mate Brendan who was utterly awful in Europe. He also prefers Mignolet and Moreno because they were bought by Brendan. Very logical and consistent from this poster. That's a fair point, remember when he was adamant Simon Mignolet should be made permanent LFC captain? Let me correct you there. I suggested Mignolet as an option for captaincy. And I didn't mention whether it was for the long-term or short-term. And A few days after I suggested it Klopp did indeed pick Mignolet as captain for the first time. Are we allowed an open dicussion where we can all bring something to the table or do we have to toe the line where everything is black and white and played out as one big charade by the same posters? Why can't I have concerns even if we did win 5-0?

But I don't think Robertson is good enough either. Klopp has a much better record than Rodgers in Europe, there's no debating that at all.

Would a CL win be a bigger triumph than 2005 comparing the squads? The way we play is obviously total different to 2005. You could may be argue overall our team is better now so it wouldn't be as impressive, but then again the big teams have become even more dominant so may be it would be a bigger triumph.

Robertson was damned good I thought. His crossing impressed me against Porto but I'm unsure he is the answer to our left-back problems.

I think Robertson's been a revelation since he got a regular start. Hopefully he continues to develop. Right-back seems a more pressing position now, maybe even another CB...
We have to accept we haven't got £130 to spend on full-backs. £8m will have to do.

It's fair to say our midfield is still poor, but they had a very good game. Keita and at least one more addition needed.
My concerns are the thin squad, not just certain positions but the CL final is 4 games/2 teams away so anything can happen.

A defence wasn't built in a day, and he's only just come into the side on a regular basis. I feel comfy watching him, which is more than can be said for the dioreeha (sp) inducing Marina.
