Plan A: Score lots of goals
Plan B: Let in lots of goals

No matter which league you look at, Plan B is always about putting a 'Duncan Ferguson' type player in the box and feeding him from the flanks with countless crosses.

We've had plenty of Plan B players but sold them on. Carol, Benteke for example.

Some good points made about our lack of tactics again against the swans. Why did Gomez play over Arnold? The injection of Arnold and Ing's, once again, was too late.

Just a thought here lads,

If we only lost one game in every 19 would we all be happy? Personally I would be delighted.

Plan B isn't necessarily "boot ball". MY view is using the full width of the pitch including the opposition corner areas, playing or cutting the ball back to the midfielders to strike, not just lumping it skyward for a lumpty rumpty like Andy Pandy Carroll to try to head it. By the way it amazes me how such such an old fashioned centre forward manages to end up sitting on his bum at least 5 times every match. Weak and lazy he is and deserves a good "rodgering".

Crouch too, is always on his grass after a challenge. Nancies the lot of em.

That doesn't leave much for us to moan about though, and we can't have that. grin

Come on now Shaggy. Why the sense after a loss when we all know that only knee jerking hysteria will do?

Totally agree. Why everyone seems to think that 'plan B' has to be lumping it to a big forward is beyond me. That is also one dimensional and in a lot of ways just as easy to defend against.

It depends what we did in other games. Would be very unhappy if we drew the the 18 games but very happy if we won. So your question and answer are a bit stupid.

OK then. So in the 14 games since the Spurs loss, we've won 10 and drawn 4. We have 14 games left so the law of averages would suggest we will get a similar return. Would that be an OK situation?

Sorry my bad, I made the fatal mistake of assuming people would use their common sense and look at our last 19 results.
