Begovic was on the bench at Chelsea, now he's playing regularly he's poor, so there isn't a big difference there.

Hart was poor at Torino and is struggling at West Ham, so two consecutive seasons and he's getting older so clearly on the decline.

Pickford got relegated last season, and has moved to Everton and conceded boat loads, his form at Sunderland was the same as Mignolet's at Sunderland.

Butland has been injured for a long time and is still relatively unproven.

Forster struggled badly last season and it has continued into this one, he's had one good season in the Premiership in his whole career.

The only potential one mentioned he would be an immediate improvement would be Schmeichel at Leicester.

Oh ok, just so I know...according to what you just said we are judging how good a goalkeeper is by how many goals he has let in, so the Man City goalkeeper is better than De Gear, and Forster is better than Scmichael and last season the best goalkeeper in the League was Lloris at Spurs.

Ok I got that.

How else do you judge a keeper then? Goals scored?

I think their is a lot more goes into his good a goalkeeper is or isn't by how many goals they let in, why dis we sign a Sunderland relagation keeper, why did the record goalkeeper in this country also come from the same relegation team, surely he wouldn't cost that much if he was just judged on the goals he let in like you suggest. So Lloris at Spurs is a better goalkeeper than DeGear going on what your saying then as he let in fewer goals.

Loris is certainly no worse in my opinion than De Gea. Pickford is good but he’s young and English so adds at least a third to his price. I’d rather have Butland if we’re going to go that route as for me he’s looked consistently better than Pickford.

Lloris is considered one of the best in the EPL

Yes but that's not what you are saying is it, your saying he's better than DeGear and not a lot of people will agree with you on that.

A couple of goals is not a huge difference, De Gea was second only to Lloris and you shouldn't look at only one season.

I think De Gea is a better keeper than Lloris, De Gea saves Man Utd so many goals with his reflexes, Lloris is also playing behind a much better defence than De Gea, both excellent keepers, but De Gea is better IMO.

I'd love to have either rather than the mediocre options we have, watching the equaliser yesterday, Migs got his fingers on it but didn't manage to push it over, there didn't appear to be much power on the shot as it floated over, so no idea why if he got a touch he couldn't push it over? maybe i'm being harsh, but I suspect if De Gea was in our goal, that wouldn't have gone in.
