Rodgers isn't, hasn't been and will never be a good tactician. Only you would come up with the idea to compare him with the likes of Pochettino and Guardiola.
All Rodgers did was to ask the players to pass the ball around Barcelona style. Booring and not very fruitful.
He also told the likes of Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez to freely bomb forward and score goals, which they did. But that didn't have much to do with fantastic viarious tactics.
Zero trophies won and an embarrasing defence just as we have now.
How's that for a master tactician? Klopp has been just as bad (probably worse in the league). And if we are saying he is tactically more astute than Rodgers then his training and man-management must be really below par then (even though these are suppose to be his strengths). How many trophies have we won under Klopp? And also, Klopp came in as one of the top managers in Europe whereas Rodgers was an inexperienced 39 year-old. Don't get me wrong, I'm behind Klopp and I still think he has got a lot to offer but right now his record is inferior to Brendan Rodgers'.

I wasn’t going to compare stats like win % between managers but it is interesting you bring these up. The most alarming problem in my opinion is the lack of improvement in our defence as you mention. He hasn’t addressed it and depending on results it is a sackable offence.
Let’s not forget Klopp provided the club, and particularly the fans, with a big lift when he arrived. We’ve had some brilliant results against top teams, came ever so close to winning the Europa League in his debut season. But right now we are limited to a top 4 place because of our deficiencies at the back - and that’s if our attack are firing on full cylinders. He is much better than Rogers in Europe though, I hope you are not think of getting Rogers back, are you? Klopp is a much more distinguished European manager. However, Rodgers probably has done a better job in the league. With Rodgers we saw clear improvement until it tailed off and he ultimately got sacked. I do think think the Premier League has exposed some of Klopp's limitations. We've seen tactically he's not at the same level as Guardiola, Pochetino or Rodgers, but then again he's not a tactician. Klopp is a fantastic trainer, motivator and man-manager. How can you dare to put Rodgers in the same league as Guardiola or even Pochetinno? What makes you think Rodgers is a good tactician, he cannot even get draws at home in Europe against better teams? He is still average in my books I would go along with that. But he is tactically more astute than Klopp in my opinion.

Why are we even still arguing bout Rodgers? He failed and got the boot just as any manager who doesn't perform will.

Tell me where I said something about Klopp (other than the part where I wrote "Zero trophies won and an embarrasing defence just as we have now"). You did your usual stuff and compared BR with top managers, which I disputed. Stop embarass yourself with stuff about BR being a top tactician when he clearly wasn't!

Yes in the league, however, if you add Europe, Klopp has been better overall

Yes in the league, however, if you add Europe, Klopp has been better overall Yes. Klopp gives much more confidence in Europe and he also got us to two finals in cup game. For Brendan, his first season is bad but acceptable considering he needs time to implement his philosophy and his second is very good. However, once he lost Suarez, he was clueless. His stats in the league may look better, however, it is largely due to his second season success. His stats on his last year before he left is terrible. Losing 1-6 to Stoke and West Ham and also not able to win a top half team in the league. He was sacked only because he had a bad season and he was given another season to prove himself but he still couldnt find a clue in the start of a new season. There was no signs of recovery and he even told the press that it is not a target for him to get us into the CL or win the league. Considering the much more competitive EPL in this two years, I just dont think Brendan can do any better.

I think it is more competitive now comparing to those years when Brendan in charge. At least Scum spent quite a lot in recent years to enhance their squad. Also, thanks to the high broadcast revenue, small teams are now able to spend millions to buy players. Teams are much more willing to spend and have bigger and better squad. The league is not as easy as it was.

All teams have more money so it's relatively the same, in fact we also have more money to spend now than what Rodgers had, Rodgers transfer record was 28m on Lallana while Klopp has spend more on Mane, Salah and Ox.
